Services and Events at St Andrew’s (Churchdown Road, Poolbrook WR14 3JB):
Thursday 12th December 11am – Midweek Carol Service – Come and join our friendly midweek Thursday congregation for some carols and celebration!
Thursday 19th December 11am – Hope in the Darkness reflective service – This is a special service for those who find Christmas difficult because of any sort of loss – loss of relationship, health, financial difficulties etc. There will especially be an opportunity for those who have been bereaved to remember their loved ones this Christmas.
Sunday 22nd December 10.30am – Pop-Up Nativity – Great fun for all ages. Come and join our pop up nativity play – and anyone who wants to come and dress up and join in is very welcome. Come dressed as one of the naticity characters or borrow one of our own costumes. The service will last about an hour.
Tuesday 24th December 5 and 7pm – Carols by Candlelight – Our main Carol Services for all ages, with traditional carols and readings, a short talk, choir items and something a little different. Come and join the festivities as we celebrate the good news of Christmas by candlelight on Christmas Eve. We will have two services – the second one is normally slightly less busy than the first.
Wednesday 25th December 10:30am – Christmas Day All Age Celebration – An all age contemporary celebration on Christmas morning. Young children are invited to bring one of their presents to show! The service will be about an hour and there will be an informal and short commmunion service for anyone who wants to stay on afterwards.
Services and Events at All Saints (Wells Road, Poolbrook WR14 4PA – next to the Wyche School):
Sunday 15th December 10am – Traditional Carol Service – Our All Saints Carol service with traditional carols, readings, and a short talk. Followed by refreshments.
Sunday 15th December 4pm – Christingle Service – Our popular ‘cafe style’ Christingle Service – come and make your own Christingle whilst we hear again its meaning and at the end of the service we gather around to light the christingles and sing Away in a Manger. Followed by refreshments afterwards.
Sunday 22nd December 10am – Informal ‘Carols of Praise’ – A new service for this year – come and hear people share stories about their favourite carols as we sing them together on the Sunday before Christmas.
Tuesday 24th December 3pm – Messy Christmas – Our Christmas Messy Church especially for primary children and their families. Crafts (including making your Christmas table decoration), hear the Christmas story again, songs and simple refreshments. A great way to entertain excited children on Christmas Eve.
Wednesday 25th December 10am – Christmas Day Communion Service – A more traditional Holy Communion Service on Christmas Day with a short talk and carols.
Services and Events at St Mary’s (Sherrards Green Road, Pickersleigh WR14 2EE):
Sunday 8th December 10am – Worship for All with Children’s Carols – Our All Saints Carol service with traditional carols and readings and a short talk. Followed by refreshments afterwards
Saturday 14th December 2pm – Family Craft Workshop with Christingle – For the whole family! Come along and make Christmas Crafts to take home and then decorate a Christingle Orange. With the hall plunged into darkness, we will light the candle on the Christingle Oranges as we sing some Christmas carols before enjoying a buffet tea.

Sunday 15th December 10am – Family Service with Pop Up Nativity – Come and join in with the nativity story. We will re-tell the story together and all are invited to take a role in the story. You can come dressed up, or borrow a costume! We will also sing carols and share the good news in a family friendly way. All are welcome.
Friday 20th December 9am – Refresh Café – Come and join us for the last Refresh Cafe of the year! Along with our usual tea, coffee, toast and cake there will be complimentary mince pies and an opportunity to buy those last Stocking Fillers from the Craft Stalls. Then at around 10.30am, join in with some Carol Singing led by Rev Emily.
Sunday 22nd December 10am – All Age Carol Service – Please come and join us on Sunday 22nd December for our Carol Service for All at 10am where we will be singing Carols and listening to the Christmas story.
Wednesday 25th December 10am – Christmas Day Communion Service – Come and join us for our service on Christmas Day as we celebrate the birth of Christ together with Carols, prayers, a short talk, and Holy Communion. Followed by festive refreshments. All welcome!
