Family Craft Workshop with Christingle (Saturday 13th December 2-4pm, St Mary’s): A fun afternoon of Christmas crafts and refreshments, finishing with our special mini Christingle service. Free fun for all the family. 

Carols of Praise (Sunday 14th December 10am, All Saints): An hour long service ‘Songs of Praise’ style with people sharing their reflections on their favourite carol.

Christingle Services (Sunday 14th December 4pm, All Saints): Our much loved Christingle service, especially for families. Come and sing some carols and make your own Christingle while we tell the story of what each part means. We’ll finish by lining up around the church to light our Christingles and sing ‘Away in a Manger.’ Followed by Christmas refreshments.

‘Pop-Up Nativity’ (Sunday 14th December 10am, St Mary’s & Sunday 21st December 10:30am, St Andrew’s): Come and join in an impromptu nativity play. We’ll provide the costumes, you decide whether you want to be a shepherd, wise man, donkey, angel… Christmas fun for all ages!

‘Hope in the Darkness’ Reflective Service (Thursday 18th December 11am): A quieter, hour-long reflective service for those who have lost loved ones or find Christmas difficult for different reasons. There will be an opportunity to remember loved ones in this service which is run by our clergy and bereavement team.

Carol Services (See above): We’ve a range of different carol services at all of our churches with a mix of contemporary and traditional for all to enjoy.

Messy Christmas (Christmas Eve 3:30pm, All Saints): Our popular Messsy Church does Christmas service for primary aged children and their families. Come and make some Christmas crafts, sing some carols, hear the Christmas story and have some Christmas refreshments. What better way to keep the children occupied on Christmas Eve?

Beer and Carols (Friday 19th December 6-7pm, The Railway Inn (Next to All Saints)): Come and join us for a festive drink and some carols in our ‘local.’
